Legends 7 Memorabilia is a company that specialises in sports memorabilia from signed football shirts to limited edition prints. They celebrate the greatest athletes across various sports and have collected some important pieces from over the years.
The Project
They were presented with a unique opportunity to acquire a pair of Cristiano Ronaldo’s match-worn shin pads from the 2008-2009 season. Given the exceptional nature and value of the shin pads, they needed to be displayed, yet protected. Legends 7 Memorabilia required a custom display case that would offer optimal protection against elements such as dust, UV radiation, and physical damage, while also providing a striking visual presentation.
The Design & Final Outcome
Legends 7 Memorabilia discussed with our sales team the requirements of the case and our team of highly skilled designers closely studied the dimensions and specific requirements of the shin pads. We understood that precision was crucial to ensure a perfect fit and optimal protection. Leveraging our expertise in custom fabrication, we carefully crafted a display case that perfectly accommodated the size and shape of the shin pads, allowing them to be displayed securely and prominently.
To provide maximum protection, we selected high-quality materials known for their durability. Our expert team utilised acrylic, a material renowned for its clarity and strength, to construct the display case. Acrylic offers excellent UV protection, shielding the shin pads from harmful rays that could potentially damage or fade them over time. Additionally, this material is lightweight, ensuring ease of handling and transport while maintaining a sleek and sophisticated appearance. To further enhance the visual presentation, we added black stem lights in the corner to highlight the shin pads and keep them well-lit at all times.
