Our objective is to always help our clients create interest and engagement around their products. The brief that we received from Cardiff Museum was to create a contemporary showcase cabinet to display four historic artillery guns in preparation for the upcoming Royal visit from Prince Charles in 2020

The solution had to include illumination, security upgrades, internal plinths and a high quality finish

Working with the latest 3D design software, our design team presented detailed technical drawings to our client along with comprehensive rendered models to allow our client to get a true feel for the design. They were extremely pleased with the drawings but requested for extra plinths to be built for inside the display, each of these were designed at a different height to allow each gun to be viewed individually and to create a dynamic, eye-catching display

The final solution was an impressive 4.5 by 2.3 by 1.3 meter high quality display cabinet. Made with a 32mm aluminium square profile. A subtle moss grey powder coated finish. Extra clear low iron laminated glass which beautifully encased the 6 magnetic tracks fitted with controllable warm white LED’s to the top and sides of the cabinet which gave incredible illumination to the four plinths. This was all expertly protected by 2 hinged doors, each with 2 certified locks for excellent security and easy access.

Great result, happy client and let’s hope Prince Charles loves the final result as much as we do
