The Solution

In collaboration with Arnie, we designed and manufactured a fully bespoke digital advertising display unit specifically tailored for installation within Gatwick Airport.

The display enclosure was constructed primarily from digitally printed MDF panels, providing a cost-effective yet highly durable branded finish. The structure incorporates a robust acrylic base system, engineered to withstand the demands of a busy commercial environment while maintaining a clean, premium appearance.

One of the key design challenges was integrating the display around existing structural pillars located throughout the terminal. To overcome this, we developed a bespoke base design featuring a precision-machined circular cut-out at the rear of the unit. This allowed the display to fit neatly around the airport columns, maximising available advertising space without obstructing passenger movement or creating bottlenecks within busy walkways.

The large-format integrated digital screen provides Gatwick Express with a flexible platform for displaying promotional campaigns, passenger information, multilingual messaging, ticketing information, and brand communications with content that can be remotely updated. The bright, high-impact display ensures excellent visibility within the busy airport environment while maintaining a sleek and professional aesthetic.

The finished unit successfully combines digital technology, bespoke fabrication, and intelligent design to create a practical and visually striking advertising solution for one of the UK’s busiest transport hubs.
